Could I kill TzTok-Jad like this?

So since I suck at prayer switching, I was thinking of doing it like this.
Protect from Range ALL the time, and use the following gear to protect from Jads' magic attacks.

Helmet: Armadyl Helm ( +10 Magic Defence )
Cape: God Cape ( + 10 )
Amulet: Amulet of fury ( + 15 )
Platebody: Armadyl Chestplate ( +70 ) - Could be replaced with Morrigans ( +75 )
Shield: Spectral Spirit Shield ( +30 )
Legs: Armadyl Chainskirt ( +40 ) - Could be replaced with Morrigans ( +46 )
Hands: Barrows Gloves ( +6 )
Boots: Ranger Boots ( +2 ) OR Infinity boots ( + 5 )
Ring: Seers' Ring ( + 4 )


Stats:
-Magic 72
-Defence 75
-Hitpoints 83
-Ranging 72

So, what'd you think?

Exactly what kobe said, you're still gonna get hit VERY hard and you'll die before you kill it. Your only option is to pray switch, you could use a script from Rsbuddy that helps you by saying what pray to switch to, etc. Gl.

 

Best to practice prayer switching, look on youtube videos. Otherwise, you will get hit very hard and most probably die before you kill it

 

Switching is the easiest part man. Just watch youtube vids of Jad (with sound on). Then just practice switching on his video lol. After doing it for a while you will become comfortable with recognizing the sound and attack style of jad and it will become second nature.
Only hard thing after that is positioning healers

 

Regardless of your combat levels, or gear, you'll still be one hit easily by him. Your only option is to prayer switch, just practice it using some YouTube vids, and you'll be fine.

 

You should combine more range attack bonuses than def ;P But i think you could kill it with some skills @ jad.

 

nah you'll run out of food to fast as your range is low

 

There's a bot with helping you to switch prayers.. ;o I heard about it.

 

Exactly what I was going to say. RSBuddy has a script that changes the color of jad depending on the attack he's using. Couldn't get any easier than that.

 

if you really dont want to pray switch, your only other option is to melee it and pray melee, but this often required 90+ atk, str, def... not sure about those stats of yours so iunno if you can do it, but ive done it before and know its possible

 

Just focus on range attack bonus. Anything else is pointless because he can 1 or 2 hit you no matter what you're wearing. Prayer bonus helps too.

 

Just get someone else to do it if you're apprehensive about it.

 

Have you ever tried it before? I thought I sucked at it too but when I got up to jad I found it reallly easy. If you cant yeah like the others have said, use the rsbuddy script its called Jad protection by viper.
