Reporting Arcaida

This will be tough. Because I got taken advantage of, since I'm new to trading here. But I'm certain it was her, because of the timing. Unfortunately she will obviously deny, and there's nothing I'll probably be able to do about it. Anyways, here it is.

She says in the thread at 1:27 for me to PM her with my MSN. I do. At 1:32 she posts in the thread saying she has added me, and I receive the notification on MSN from [email protected]. Ok, so we start talking on MSN. Long story short, I send her a Red Mask, she logs off. On the MSN conversation, "Arcaida signed off at 01:45" says the screenshot. At 1:45 she posts in the thread again, saying her ebuddy isn't working and she sent me a PM. In the PM, timed at 1:46, she tells me to add her [email protected].

So, it looks obvious that she did that to cover her, since now she can say that it wasn't her I was talking to on MSN. And, since I didn't ask for a PM, I guess I'm partly at fault, since I'm new here. But it was so perfectly timed exactly to get a newbie like me, she posting "Added you" at the same time as the MSN popped up, I didn't think of asking for a PM. And then, exactly after we trade, she logs off, and posts that her ebuddy wasn't working and PMs me a different MSN.

Here are the screenshots. Maybe someone will believe that she acted in bad faith. I'm sad, I lost lots of money today.

 

Get me a screenshot of you telling her your PayPal address and a screenshot of your financial history on PayPal and that'll be enough for a ban. Please PM me the images directly or PM me once you've posted them here.

EDIT: a few more things, the full MSN address is never shown in your pictures, and neither is her telling you her MSN (note that this would be a pic of the PM on Sythe).

 

Ok. I didn't think posting my Paypal balance was necessary, or even the MSN email, because she never claimed to be that person. And she didn't claim to send me the Paypal money, so it's kinda pointless, of course I received nothing. Here it is, nonetheless.

People have been PMing me sympathizing, saying she has multiple scam reports but she always could get away.

Some more circunstancial proof, from analyzing her posted messages (note that this is in my timezone, so the actual time might be showing differently for you, but the coincidence in times is the same):

At 1:32 she said in my thread she added me, and I got the MSN notification.

Notable points: She never posted in the second thread saying her ebuddy wasn't working, only in mine. She didn't say anything about it not working for 13 minutes, in either thread, exactly while we were discussing on MSN and making the trade. If her ebuddy wasn't working right away, she would've posted 30 seconds after saying she added me, and she wouldn't have added someone else in the mean time.


On another observation, apparently this same thing has happened already some days ago, in a very similar way, albeit the times aren't as conclusive as in my case:

Notable points: First she asks both of them to send her their MSNs, and later claims she can't add people at the moment. She only says "I can't add you, ebuddy has problems, sent you a PM" to MonkeyUdds (don't know if it's showing in the quote), not to the other guy (and MonkeyUdds was the one who traded). I understand that in this case, a long time has passed between the messages, so possibly someone else could've added him impersonating Arcaida.
But it's a precedent of the same method that was used against me, except in my case the timing was blatantly obvious, and there were some "slips" in her method, since she did say she added me first, right as the MSN notification appeared, and she claimed to have problems exactly after logging off.

This is either an elaborate scam or she has an impostor who follows her trades down to the second. Personally, I'm leaning more towards that she scammed you, but for now I'll have to discuss it with the other members of staff. We'll come upon a conclusion relatively quickly, I hope.

 

Alright, so unfortunately we weren't able to warrant a ban, but she's got a TWC now.
