Thinking of Range Pure

Ok, enough fun, I was thinking about making my pure more of a range pure.
My stats atm is:

I'm getting 44 prayer, then I'm thinking about getting the range to 90..
Not sure if that's good or not since I havn't played in years.
Also, What quests should I do? I see most range dudes have that thing on their back. Look like a backpack or something.
Quests I should do as melee pure would be good too since I have not done any quests on this account.
I also have no ideas what are the best items used for pking atm, someone should make an updated guide on this stuff

Range pures are decent, but you won't get very many kills unless you incorporate melee in some form or fashion, unless you want to rely on DBow Specs or lucky DBolt hits, but DBow hits 8-8 like 50% of the time, and most people bring antifires.

60 atk 88 str is your best bet, on top of 99 ranged

 

That "thing" that pures got on there back is called an ava's accumelator from the animal magnetism quest, I strongly recommend this. I would get 99 range for max ownage If you want to make a " ranger pure"

 

so, I get my str to 88, then range to 99 and prayer to 44?

 

Get your range to 70.
Then use knives to they are on low ish health.
Pull out gmaul, hit, spec x2. They're dead.

 

Any other quests I should do rather than Animal Magnetism?
