    Maybe the Gp:USD ratio should be adjusted to be slightly higher than the current market value due to the risk plznate and others are taking when attempting to resell the gold and actually acquire the USD for Sythe.org?

    Actually, I will most likely be having the rates at UNDER market value so that I can easily find buyers. The ratio will be the same for buying and selling, however I will most likely be using playerauctions for most people who want to use paypal, so I will mark up the selling price on that by 15% simply to cover the PA fee.

    Well what I meant was you hike the ratio up, like 2m/$1 (or some derivation thereof) but then when you sell it you sell at whatever the current market value is.

    That way you could create more revenue for Sythe.org based just on what people are willing to donate. If they are serious about donating and want to help out the site, a high GP:USD ratio shouldn't be too much of a hindrance.

    I think in the end we're both arguing different sides of the same argument, no?

    Ah, that makes some sense. If I did that it would also cover the costs of any operating fees (for example, the fees that PA charges). I may look into that :)


    I will be putting how much gp you would have to donate to gain that rank in there once I figure out the ratio.
