Default Current build : Whats wrong with it?

My buddy paid 150$ for a 2000 era computer (pentium d, 1.5gb ddr2, small case) so I told him to take it back.

I built him this (and he can supply the rest of the parts (gpu/psu/etc)).

What do you guys think?

What is your friend's main use for this computer? With that CPU + board, looks like he won't be able to do much hardcore shit.

8gb of ram is overkill that cpu will max out before the ram so get 4 gigs instead.

I also wouldn't trust someone non-computer literate to be buying himself a psu and a gpu, especially if he wants it to function.

Edit: didnt see you already had a motherboard.

Hmm, I must have grabbed the wrong picture. It was originally 4 gigabytes.

He's not looking for any High-End gaming, but would like to be able to play games smoothly (and has never had a computer with any modern-era stats.)

Games he plays include Eve, Payday: The Heist, etc... Stuff like this a computer (he has a decent gpu) should be able to crush.

Even with a core 2 duo + GeForce 8600gt I am able to play BF3 on high with 40+ fps, no oc'd.

What I'm really looking for is if any of you have any other part suggestions that are comparable in price.
