Want a new Computer - £500 or So - Quad Core - Extremely Fast.

I'm looking to pull together a good computer that will allow me to make video's, play a select number of online games, more than anything, allow me to have a lot of windows open including java windows, etc.

I don't mind having the computer custom built and delivered, I just don't want to have to build it myself if possible.

If anybody knows of a good website(s) that sells custom built computers, pre-built that would be brilliant.

Also I'm wondering what I'm looking for.

I've been told I should definitely look for Quad Core, go for as high RAM as possible.

Any information/feedback anybody could leave would be brilliant.

Eclipse-computers have some cheap prices but you'd have to compile the computer yourself.

Here is an Amazon Wish-List I put together when I was getting a new PC. CLICK HERE. This is within your price range (Around £550 Total last, time I checked). All that isn't on there is the case because I bought an NZXT M59 case which I couldn't find on Amazon. The total price I listed above included the case though.

This is probably the most sexy setup I have ever encountered, the only problem being I don't want to have to build the whole thing up from scratch, although I likely could do it, it would definitely take me more time than I'd want to spend.

Building it can be minimal so I can fit it around work, etc. but I don't want to have to build it up from nothing.

Any suggestions on companies that'll custom build? I know of companies that will with their parts, but I'd love those parts but to have it custom built at a reasonable price.

You could probably search local; newspaper ads, craigslist. Any small computer shop would build it for you, for pretty cheap. It's better to buy parts from online retailers, then get it built locally, and it's cheaper too.

Okay cool, my other option is to go to a custom build site, pick out the parts and have it custom built then delivered.

Yes, and no, the best site for custom laptops i've found in the uk is pcs.co.uk but be aware if you don't pay extra for the fast track service you will not be getting your laptop for at least 18 days.

Alright, anybody want to customize me a build?

I want atleast 8GB of RAM, Quad Core, I will also be wanting to run it for 16+ hours per day with a decent graphics card, if not high end.

Budget can be stretched to £600.
