Appeal for #Pokemon

I logged into Sythe this morning and I had a ban for 'Ban Evading'. I asked Kinaesthic why I had received this ban because this is my first ever account on Sythe. He checked my IP and said it had been "registered to many users". I questioned him on this then he asked if I used a VPN. I replied yes as I have a valid excuse - when I tried registering first time it said another user had registered on my IP and I didn't know anything about this I was completely clueless as that account certainly didn't belong to me.. I called my ISP because I wanted to join Sythe but as explained it wouldn't let me, they said to change my IP and I asked them how they told me to reset my network adapter or router and it will automatically change. I tried this over and over but Sythe kept giving me the same "other users have registered on your IP" or something. I asked my dad and he told me to use a VPN, I downloaded a free version of Hotspot Sheild and activated it, it allowed me to register onto Sythe and that was the end of it.

I didn't know this was a problem/against the rules as I actually had a valid excuse to do this and I was new to Sythe so I didn't know where to go for help, please review this as this really wasn't my fault and I feel pretty bad for not investigating further before using the VPN.
