How to make a thread selling your Runescape account!

I'm sure this has been done before, but I'm going to post a guide to posting sales threads for Runescape accounts. with enough user help and attention, hopefully this could be a sticky someday

What you'll need:
Each section is covered in more detail later.
-Pictures of the account stats-
-Pictures of the login details-
-Pictures of the total wealth-
-Pictures of the total quest points-
-Pictures of the quests completed-
-How the account was trained-
-The price you will be starting bids at-
-The A/W (Auto-win) for your account-
-The methods of payment you are accepting-
-Posts that you would not like to see-
-Your trading conditions-
-Account information-



Pictures of the account stats
This is a very important part of account selling. The stats are usually the most important thing. This is not the case in account being sold primarily for the items [ex: mask set/partyhat/sythe] or an account that is being sold for the name [ex:Jesus] but users will still want to see the stats!





Pictures of the login details
These are often required from most users, although mentioning the information in the picture often serves the same purpose. You will want to block out your IP address, and i also choose to block out favorite worlds, just as an extra security measure.





Pictures of the total wealth
The wealth of an account is always important, and should always be included. Wealth is easily tracked by Jagex, so some users choose to block it out, even though Jagex can't see our website. They would be breaking their terms of service, but to be on the safe side, many users block out the end numbers [right] and some leave everything exposed [left]
It is also very wise to include at least one picture of bank wealth, as usually all valued items can't fit in the backpack.

Unique items

Be sure to include any items that took you time to obtain, but aren't tradeable. This can go for torsoes, quest suits, fire capes, void armor, minigame items, etc.




Pictures of the quests completed
This picture should cover the quest points and the most major quests you have completed. If you wish, you can create a larger file with all of the quests you've completed pasted along side it. The best option is to use the members only "sort by: completion" option, which will have all of the quests you have completed grouped above in the quest journal.




How the account was trained
This section is very simple. Was the account botted, or trained legitimately? By how many people? If botted, what patterns? [how many hours a day, with what bot, continuously with the same bot, etc.]


The Price you will be starting bids at
This is the price of which you would like no person to bid under. In this section you could also include the bid increments you want so that users don't post bids of $1 over the previous one, because unless you mention this, it is allowed.

The Auto-win price for your account
This is the price at which, when met, the account will be sold automatically. This price may be changed at any time by you, and as long as no information/money has been transferred, you may always cancel.


The methods of payment you are accepting
The variety of acceptable methods is almost infinite, but the most popular are: [from top to bottom]
-paypal
-swaps [account for account]
-WU [western union]
-Pay-by-mail*

*paying by mail offers no reciepts of any kind, is very easy to scam, and is not recommended.


Posts that you would not like to see
If you don't want someone to post things like "free bump!" Then mention it here. If you mention it, and sometimes without, these can/should be reported to a moderator for spamming.


Your trading conditions
These conditions often refer to the use of a middleman or who is going first, how many vouches a person has that they'd like to trade with, and the payment methods you are taking.

Account Information
This is the information that you'll be stating upon final sale of the account. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Original owner
• Amount of times the account has been sold
• Recovery information
• Anything else based on seller/MM preference

People selling acounts may also want to post pictures with the quested or minigame obtained items. ( firecapes, Torso, void etc.)
