Re: Mixed Martial Arts
It's not about "big" names. It should be a great fight. Btw Wanderlei is one of the biggest names in MMA.
I think he retired actually, he has had 58 fights.

Re: Mixed Martial Arts
Agree, its never about big names, some of the best fights ive seen have been with "no bodys". Later became fairly known. But still
Judoka myself i like watching UFC in spair time, also pride fighting (bit harsh tho).

Big names help, but I prefer having great fights over big names sometimes.

Re: Mixed Martial Arts
Oh its just part of my view in the UFC. Its like a tourney for me. The only other promotions i watch are Dream and SF. I dont watch Bellator despite people telling me i should. August has the most events i've seen so far that the UFC are gonna pull off btw.
Also i dont think Wandy has that killer instinct anymore, hes way past his prime and is too soft these days.
And ufc 134 is right after my birthday!

Re: Mixed Martial Arts
You need to watch Bellator. The more MMA the better tbh. Hector Lombard is a top 5 MW imo/ Eddie Alvarez a top 5 LW.

Too soft? what fight did he show he was soft?
leban vs silva is an guaranteed banger and possible fotn. No matter how much wars silva has been in he always shows up to put up a scrap.

Silva does. His chin isn't what it used to be. Rampage broke his too I think, just like he broke Chuckies

He let Liddell up when he knocked Liddell down. He always trying to touch gloves and trying to be nice to his opponents. The Silva back then was ruthless compared to what he is now.
Rampage is breaking chins all over town

He hasn't been knocked out since the rampage fight so how did his chin get broken? id understand if he was like chuck and got knocked out by 3-5 different people after the rampage fight but he is coming off a win against michael spitsbing

Rampage breaking chins all over town? his last 4 fights went to decisions...
And wanderlie shows respect in his fights and is one of the most humble fighters in the ufc, and in pride he was same.. and touching gloves doesn't mean you're a soft fighter.

He hasnt been hit by a solid shot yet, thats why. I dont think his chin will be what it used to be if hit by another solid shot.

Yeah, I was happy he beat Bisping, even though I liked him up until UFC 127. Spitting and illegal kneeing on a guy is dbagish and uncalled for.
It should be a war though, that is all I am saying. I hope winner gets Stann. I think Leben beats him if they fight again.

Leben has no standup defence.. He thinks his chin will win all his fights which was proven wrong by stann. Now if he beats silva (whos coming off a injury) you think he could take stann and beat him this time?
Leben needs to stop dropping his hands, he wont make it past silva if he doesn't improve his standup defence.

Hes just a stiff fighter, AKA what Stann used to be. Stann has great footwork and head movement now. But i think Stann would lose to Munoz because Stanns TTD inst that great. Stan got wrestlefucked by Phil Davis and was like a flopping fish.
Btw Marquardts moving down to WW it seems. Anderson Silva is just making his opponents switch classes !

I am pretty sure, he came into the fight unprepared and unmotivated. Leben got caught with a big shot coming in = 2x the force. He didn't recover from it.
I think Stann is still a little overrated. People forget what Phil Davis did to him, or Krystof. Just saying. That being said I hope he wins the belt after Anderson retires/moves up.

Marquardt and gsp are from the same camp right? not sure how thats gonna unfold if he gets the win over story and gets another quality win. Stann is always improving so i won't be surprised if he pulls out the win.
Anyone here make online bets? bodog is where its at i made a decent amount from them so far and im actually making profit off the site

I don't because I don't know how tbh. I know lines and everything, but you need a credit card right? I don't have one. If it was paypal and I got my paypal fixed, I definitely would. I make bets with my friends
GSP and Marquardt are both at Tristar/but they train also at Jacksons and sometimes Grudge. Stann still hasn't fought a good MW wrestler.
