Ok, So for this guide we are going to be doing a simple teleport effect in Sony Vegas. All you will need for this is , of course, Sony Vegas, and a clip of you acting like you are teleporting and then the same background as the clip you are using...To do that you just go up and act like you are teleporting then get out of the shot for a little bit. You can cut it until you have two clips that look nice to you. But now, on with the rest of the guide.

To start off, have your two clips ready and split them to where there is one of you teleporting and then the background.

Next, you will just want to move your background clip under the other clip in a new video track.

After that is done, you will need to add a fade or transition to the end of your top clip, watch the video and see how it looks. Different transitions have a little bit different effects, but if you use a fade, it should look as if you are fading out of the room. You can shorten or make the fade/transition longer depending on how fast you want to fade out. So after you add that it should look like this.

Once this is done, you are basically finished with the effect. But, you can shorten up the background clip to your liking and add any other little effects or changes of your own, but if you don't want to, then that is just the basic effect. If you want you can add a sound effect too. To do that, just import the file and make a new audio track and put it in where you would like and you can also change the audio boost settings to your liking. So, if you added a sound effect it should look something like this when it is finished.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed the guide and learned from it. If you have any feedback on the guide I would appreciate if you posted it! Thanks.
