Does any of u find the donating system complicated like me it would just be a lot easier if u put a link at the top of. The page saying dontate and u click how much u want to donate and that's that but instead there's 3 different people to donte to and u have to send them a message and go through a awkward process I suggest we would do this

The donation system is fairly good I thought. As far as I am aware you can not make paypal donations till you have made at least one other donation via RSGP or the other options with the people listed on the donation page because of charge backs. the three people that take RSGP are all pretty active and should answer you with in 24 Hours.

The main form of donating is through RSGP. Matthew (head of donations) cannot be online all the time to take donations from individuals, so these nice users take the donations and then give them to Matthew who applies the donation.

No support.

I wonder, wouldn't it be possible to add another donation payment option?
Lets say, more directer.

I do know PayPal is no option due to chargebacks, but arent there online transfer methods that can't be claimed back?
I'd love a direct link too, to be honest.

In fact I would have donated 5$ already if I had a direct method.

Paypal is an option if you have already donated $5. If you chargeback they simply ban your sythe account.

If you want to pay via other payment methods, you can do so through buying GP from Grave then immediately donating the GP.

The current donation system is fine, admitted it can sometimes be a hassle for non donors to donate to Sythe through RSGP if no one is available or if they are waiting for their bonds to be approved.

I don't know if you could do this on PA, but you could Pay through PA, it's direct and there are no charge backs.

It's not as difficult as you make it out to be, it's more about just having patience rather than instant gratification.

If you want to support Sythe and aren't just donating to get $5 next to your name to help you scam, then you'll be fine with waiting 1-24 hours...

Yeah the wait isn't that long and from my experience people aren't bothered by a small wait... it's just a PM and there really isn't a reason for someone to have donor that quickly on this website.

PM -> Response -> Reply -> Trade if you guys are both online or whatever you set up.

PM -> Response with PayPal instructions -> you send the money.

That's how I assume it works... there is no need to speed up the process.

Sythe is a community.
As much as i hate to say it, people,(including me) don't just donate to help out the site, but donate for the cool perks you get, and for this reason, Matthews donation centre is amazing. If it were just a simple box at the top of the page that said "Click here to donate through paypal" there would probably be alot less donations.

In my opinion it's pretty normal to not offer paypal as an option to donate the first time. They just can't risk their paypal getting limited because of chargebacks.

It doesn't bother me that you have to use rsgp/PA to donate at first, you're doing it because you want to support this website, I'm sure waiting a few days won't harm you.

On another note, I'd love to see some more perks added.
