So... Roy found this glitch (and the DA glitch) and they both were abuse only in August? Meaning, there wasn't anyone who knew about this and was abusing this it for months (as far as is known)?

If was discovered in August and since we are still in August, it can't have been used for months. Instead, it was abused for days. Others slowly picked up on it as people leaked and at the end, JaGeX's were on it due to the leak.

Crucible was discovered by me and Roy on August 3rd.
Duel arena was found by Roy / Iceforg / Quint the day later.
Duel arena one was being abused by bulkmillseller on sythe since July 31.
