Guild Wars is a widely popular game and Fairly deserves its own section. With the upcoming release of Guild Wars 2 a lot of people are getting back into Guild Wars itself and this is something that shouldnt be ignored.

although i enjoy guildwars 2 and will be advidly palying it and getting its rep known on sythe.

i do not support this yet.


for one the game isn't even out yet, nor has a release date been set.

second we don't know how big the game will be on sythe, so erego, no point in a new section being added if it just ends up dieing.


i know most/all of that is for gw2.

there also isn't enough threads to support guild wars which is a much older game, that isn't as active as it once was.

I think it deserves a section... I know that when I get tired of RS I go play GW and have played the GW2 beta and can say there are ALOT of people who pre-ordered that game.

I support a section as well. In 2010 all I would hear about is guild wars 2 and up until 3 weeks ago I found it hasn't even been released yet. Seems GW2 has a huge fan base.

Yeah makes sense, wasn't there a section for a previous game prior to its release that turned out to be a flop? We should wait and see if there is a demand before supplying.

If there is a lot of demand originating in the future, then I guess it could be considered. It doesn't seem like a popular topic as of right now. Maybe the popularity can increase after the release, which improves its chances for getting a dedicated section. But, as of right now, I don't think Guild Wars should get it's own section.

If we open up the forums for guild wars players earlier though it could bring alot of traffic and bring those players to this forum instead of other forums.

That's what I said about Diablo 3, and it did help to an extent, but unfortunately the market is not advertised therefore no one knows about it, which makes it just another false hope.

I am personally trying to bring attention to Guild Wars 2 By selling full game keys but cant get my word to the right crowd because Im hidden in the "other" section which is a hard place to sell.

I definitely agree a section should be made, Guild wars and runescape have always and will always be my top favorite MMO's honestly and with GW2 coming out.
