How do people manage to fall for keylogs/rats

Why do people fall for them I never fall for them

Most likely they either don't know what they are, don't have anti virus, or they are disguised very well. I've never personally been keylogged never mind ratted so not to sure.

They can be very well disguised. Quite often they will be hidden in a Java applet that looks legit (like on a private server or a phishing website).

If you have decent protection and a basic knowledge of computer security they are pretty easy to avoid.

i have fallen for them twice, my bank pin saved me. most of the time its clear its a keylogger but once and a while they are hard to tell...

Because people will follow any link.

I know a common rat people spread in rs are live stream links. Someone did this to a friend of mine. So you find one person who trusts you to follow the link then from my friends acc the hacker sent out the link to his friends list including me. As it was coming from my friends acc I would have followed it but luckily I was bossing so had no time.

IMO Its people that make it sound legit.

I think most of the time its from greed. People click on things like "Download DDOSER make bils staking" and shit like that without even thinking. They then get hacked and blame epic bot

The right sentence should be: 'I have never been a victim of keyloggers'.
Everyone can fall for a keylogger easily.

I'm not talking about the normal JDB's.
I mean the Silent ones. They just run when you visit a site.
That's why you shouldn't CLICK any link you don't trust.

there is many ways to avoid keyloggers by useing programs that hides your keystrokes and encrypt them to avoid keyloggers
