Help
I need an admins assistance to contact another forum member via email. I tried doing it myself and it referred me to go to an admin. The reason I'm asking this is because I need contact with this individual ASAP, not much detail there but half the people reading this aren't even admins.
Any admins that can assist me in any way contact me via pm, email, msn, Skype perhaps if you have it, or maybe even post here to help me. Really up to you. Thank you in advance for the help!

Re: Help
If you're needing an admins assistance it would be best to PM them, they rarely read threads here as they are very busy elsewhere.
Also, I doubt they would just hand out someone's email without their permission. I personally wouldn't want them handing out my email.

Re: Help
I know what your problem is. You should PM the individual yourself about it unless they're banned, or you can post a scammer report.

Thank you both for your replies and I've take. What you've said into consideration. @Shoop when I went to send the individual I'm trying to contact a message via email it gave me a message stating that I should contact an admin for it or contact an admin to contact the individual so I'm just doing what it says. @Laptop thank you for understanding. You're the only person who just doesn't write me off saying I'm shit out of luck because they just assume I'm a complete idiot and don't know what I'm talking about. And regarding the ban and messaging this individual, I've already sent messages to him but the problem is he's inactive for a couple weeks which is why I need to send a personal email directly to him. And I will take up the ban request when I'm sure he's a scammer.
Again, thank you both for your replies.

Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.
This is the EXACT message I received when attempting to send an email to the individual. Word for word, copy and pasted directly from my iPhone.

Re: Help
Administrators and Globals can see a person's registered email to their account, however they are unlikely to give it to you as it's personal account info. You could perhaps request that a member of upper staff send that person an email to log on to Sythe to deal with a recovered account.
I'll be honest though, if he's disabled PMs and hasn't logged in, there is the probable chance he has scammed you. And RS accounts are very difficult to get back especially if they are on the original IP.
If you don't hear anything from him, I would consider a scam report.

Re: Help
To be honest I'm not beyond worried about recovering the account or even getting it back, I traded an LoL account for it and I have a recovery for the account pending right now. Thanks for the help lap. And really in my opinion, the report a scammer option to me is just amazingly useless, but that's just my thoughts on it, I mean the only thing it's gonna do really to affect him is the work he's put into the sig. Who knows right, he could come back and try to scam so might as well put a stop beforehand right.

Re: Help
It isn't really useless, it receives criticism as people complain their reports are denied without proper proof, and people can't be banned without the actual proof as it's very common for a person to be framed or mistakenly banned these days. By all means post a scam report against him and see what happens, if he's legit then he'll attempt to contact you and give the account back. Unitil then my advice is to file a report and get him banned for recovering an account. At least then he can't possibly scam anymore people on that account.

Re: Help
I completely agree with Laptop, but I've replied to your PM and I'll get back to you once I've sorted it out

Re: Help
Thank you both for the help you've offered, as soon as I'm able to get on a computer, I'll file a full scammer report, can't add pictures from my phone, probably can just have no idea how haha. There's some good news from all this however, recovered my LoL account and he got me from unranked to 1.2k elo or 900, not entirely sure. Guess he wasn't counting on that one

Re: Help
Great to hear you managed to get your items back, not as many people are as lucky as you. Make sure you read all the stickies before posting one, although it sounds like you have the required proof already.
