Diablo III Profitable?

Do you guys think Diablo III will be profitable?

For those who dont know, there will be an "Auction House" where you can sell items for real life cash.

I personally think that sooo many people will be trying to make money off of the game, that the profit margins will be 0 to none, what do you guys think?

The only people who will possibly make anything worth their while will be those playing 24/7 with level 9x characters with max magic find gear... And I still doubt that they could make more than like $5/hour.

I think it might be good to make a little bit as you play, but I'll be playing pretty much exclusively for enjoyment. I tried the beta last night and it seemed like a lot of fun. It will be the first game I'm actually playing in a long time.

i have sold diablo2 accounts for over $2000 a piece before so i know for sure i will make shitloads of money from D3.

ive already put my programmer to work creating the bots and preordered quite a few accounts for launch.

time will tell if my prediction is correct....

It will be profitable.

The reason this new auction house exists in the first place is to combat the previous black market problems of Diablo 2. As many Diablo 2 fans know, there were plenty of places to sell your accounts or items for some easy cash. Now I would say that the amount of people playing Diablo 3 is going to be significantly higher than Diablo 2, which also means the market would be significantly bigger as well.

I would say that if you play the game regularly, you should have no problem making some good cash.

It will definitely be profitable, how much depends on the amount your willing to invest in it and when bots are released xD

The vast majority of armour is insane. Those really rare pieces of gear that have the "perfect" stats will go for upper 100's of dollars.

I expect to make lots off profit. I already asked the forum for a market section. High end gear will end up here and on other websites.

Why? The limit is on 250$ and 15% fee on the transaction. No one wants that fee on a item over 250$.

How much money I will make no idea. I don't got full time for everything. But a extra buck everyone can make if they play the game smart.

EDIT: also the RMAH will not go up for one week. So ultra rare items are only really sellable on the blackmarket.

I think that it will be profitable and since there are so many people and stuff in the game, there will be a higher profit margin. Especially after it is just released

Yeah I think it will be for the first month or two when people are just getting into it.. Also depends on when/if bots are developed.
