Posting rule regarding name sales.

Threads like this are full with posts that say "Pm me the name/list please". Most of these people are just trying to get post count up and are rarely interested in the names. There should be a written rule for threads like these to stop spam and having threads like these always bumped to the top. If the posters are actually interested and the seller doesn't want to reveal the name they should make the effort to PM. Posting "PM me" should result in an infraction.

Thoughts?

Agreed, if really interested one should PM the seller.
(Let's see how long he wants to keep the name private with his message box full every other day.)

Definitely agree, There's no reason why if the person expects a pm, they can't be bothered to send a PM first asking. Shows actual interest.

I think it would make more sense to require the name to be displayed in the thread. People wouldn't have an opportunity to do this in the first place that way.

I have updated the rules to include that people must PM the seller instead of posting on their thread telling the seller to PM the names.

Great suggestion. It would really piss me off whenever people would post on my threads asking for the names, then after having PM'd them I'd never hear from them again. You're completely correct; if they're actually interested in a name, they won't mind PM'ing you

I agree with this as there are too many threads the "pm me" and 5 mins later "PM'ed"
