You probably pulled a muscle. (Not probably, I'm almost 100%).

It's going to be like this for a while, took me four days to completely recover when it happened to me ~ a month ago. I suggest you do your best to get up and get in a position where you can do something (Watch TV, etc). Take painkillers, and add heat. Once you have a bit more mobility, add some deep-heating lotion while you have someone massage it to loosen it up, it really helps.

Sounds like you pulled a muscle. This happens to me all the time. All I do is apply heat, and usually the next morning it's all better. You should try this, and see if it works. If it doesn't get better in the next 3 or 4 days, I suggest you schedule an appointment at the doctors office.

You probably slept in a draught and got a stiff neck. Just put a hot water bottle on it and keep massaging the area, it should be fine after a day or two. If it doesn't stop hurting or you still can't turn your head after a few days then go to the Doctor because it may be something more serious.

Don't worry, this is totally normal. I know how much it sucks.

I haven't had this happen to me for ages, but it used to happen to me quite often when I was younger. You most likely slept on your neck or with your head in a weird position, and therefore you pulled a muscle or caused the muscles to tighten up and make your neck feel stiff and sore.

Rest is best, in this case. Don't strain it more than you have to, try and take a hot shower or apply a hot water pad or something that will help loosen you up. Other than that, there isn't really any solutions I know of except for waiting for it to go away. It usually takes 24-36 hours to completely vanish but sometimes it goes away alot quicker if you're lucky.

Well it could be a lot of things but my guess is that it is either your nerves playing up a bit or a muscle . Basically just keep an eye on it and if the problem persists then go and see a doctor or someone medically trained who can help you with your neck D:.

I've had neck problems since I was about 14 bro, I hurt it badly in judo an I know how you feel. Basically you'll just have to wait it out. The doctors will probably prescribe ibproughen (how ever you spell it) and you'll just sit with the pain for a while.
If you haven't had neck problems in the past then just sit and wait, try to take you mind off it and you'll be fine, just have to wait a few days
