I think that members who quitted Sythe and for the last like 2-3 months haven't logged in, they should be marked as an Inactive Member.

What would be the point of this?
What are the benefits, if I may ask?

That just makes the community look bad, and it's just so point or use for it.

There is no need for something like this at all. How would you even come across an inactive users member profile without realizing said person is inactive in the first place?

I guess it would clear up some space, if no one has logged into the account in over a year to have it be deleted. They can always re-sign up to another account if they choose to come back. Then again I'm not 100% smart, when it comes to forums and their databases or whatever you call it :p maybe its not really a big deal.

Deleting accounts just because someone hasn't logged in is not only unfair to the people who have legitimate reasons, but it would allow anyone to re-register the name. An individuals user information takes up around a kb of space, so storing it isn't much of a problem.

Though, deleting peoples avatars after a year might be a good idea.

This is a horrible idea. Reasons:

    1. There are probably many inactive users, thus many guests will think its a "dead" community.
    2. People go on vacations etc and then come back to see that they've been marked indirectly "as a disgrace"
    3. Some people don't post very often, but browse more.
    4. There is absolutely no point to add this?

This would just cause more problems and jobs for the staff.

All this suggestion would do is detract legitimacy from Sythe. There are much more inactive accounts rather than active accounts. I'm sure absolutely no one wants to look at a wall of *INACTIVE* when searching through the members of the site.

If you want to see whether or not someone is active, just check when they've last logged on, problem solved.

Um, in the back coding of the website and vBulletin, there is something that marks the account as inactive.

However, it doesn't get shown. Also as farcast said, that's incredibly annoying. Whats the use also? How would that benefit the community in any way?
