    Check out my thread in my signature if you are interested.

    For the first method, I dont believe it will work =s. Lets say I sell 50k feathers for 6 each in the GE. If I go buy 50k feathers for 6 each, wont it just lower it to 4 each and buy from the person selling for a lower price?

    Yes, that is why you must choose an item very few people trade and perform the operation quickly.

    I still cant believe jagex would give up so much money and players quiting(same thing lol) just to prove a point. WHO CARES if people buy gold if it makes them happy and want to play the game then let them. People buy gold on World Of warcraft but you dont see them putting a block on trade (hince one of the reasons they have like 7 million more people than runescape) also they took away wild pking (sorda) that was one of the main things in runescape to do. its 10x more fun than in BH and BLAH! i jst cant believe it! I miss the old days of runescape with the even crapier graphics than what my 2 year old cousin draws with her eyes closed and a knife stabbed in her eye. BAH.

    Thank you that is all.

    They can't. That would be a fixed market, as opposed to a free market. It would entirely ruin all trade in the game and thus the game itself.

    Hmm can someone figure out exactly how much per sell youd make cause it seems to me like it wouldnt be more than 100-1000gp per sell which would take beyond forever to do if you wanted like 10mil

    Admittedly, I've never been an official member of Sythe before, and previously wasn't much of a fan of RWT... BUUUUUUUUUUUT, Jagex managed to really piss me off with the updates, so I decided I'll help you guys make them suffer. >:)

    So, I believe I know of a glitch they didn't think of to transfer money. Simply go to Bounty Hunter, late at night, on an uncrowded world. Have the seller bring with him either a large quantity of law runes and/or rune arrows (both combat-related, so allowed within). So long as the world is secluded enough, simply have the buyer kill the seller, and then sell the items on the Grand Exchange. Both sell nearly instantly in my experience - thus, at least in theory, the transfer should be able to work quite nicely.

    Happy RWTing, and death to Jagex. ^^

    Hmm...

    Well, if they had 1k laws, 1k nats, 1k souls, and 1k rune arrows, that's somewhere near 1 mil I'd believe... Just repeat as many times as necessary.

    Yah and for bigger trades use guthans spears or another barrows item. Have the person killing you enter and exit until he gets you as a target so when he kills you he can pick-up and exit right then and there.

    Also I like the first method, slow but effective way to trade small, and if planned properly; larger trades.

    Sythe, very nice ideas. :D

    The first idea is only limited by the number of stackable items the buyer starts out with. Assuming the buyer has no stackable items we can work out mathematically how long a transaction would take. I suggest SCAR scripters get cracking on auto-traders to make gp trading easier. (You can probably have SCAR communicate with the other player's SCAR to co-ordinate buy/sell signals.)

    The mathematics for this are basic compound interest. I will draw them up and post them shortly.

    This might not be quite right due to the fact that you can only buy whole quantities of a stackable item. But it should give some fair idea of how many trades are needed to move however much gold.

    Iterations = gold_amount / (quantity * (max - min)) + log (quantity * min / buyers_gold ) / log (max / min) - 1

    Where:
    gold_amount = the amount of gold you wish to transfer
    quantity = the number of stackable items (of the type you are using) the seller has
    max = the max price of the stackable item as observed on the GE
    min = the min price of the stackable item as observed on the GE
    buyer_gold = the amount of gold the buyer starts off with (it is probably best to simply give the buyer 3k)

    To demonstrate:
    Say, for example, we are using charcoal as our stackable item.
    Lets say that:
    min = 22 gp
    max = 24 gp
    quantity = 20000 (that is 20k charcoal items)
    gold_amount = 2 mill (we want to transfer 2 mill)
    buyer_gold = 3k (the buyer starts with 3k gp and nothing else)

    iterations = 2000000 / (20000 * 2) + log ((22 * 20000) / 3000) / log (24/22) -1

    iterations = 107

    That means that in the above example, where the gold buyer started with only 3k, it would take 107 trades to move 2 mill across.

    You can use this formula too, all you need to do is substitute in the values for your variables. When you have an all number expression (like the one above) just put it into google and you should get a result. Round the answer up.

    It'd be pretty easy for someone to write a little trade calculator based on this.

    Obviously the main limiting factor in how much you can transfer, and how quickly, is the value of (max-min) and the number of stackable items you have.

    My suggestion is just wait a month or so more, there are coming new updates that might have a way to rwting as well (like the pking-replacement they promised)

    Bounty hunter would only work if you used a high level main and items, because anything non combat related will not be allowed in the arena.

    The second idea makes no sense...why would anyone rent out your account? If they cant transfer the gp they make...
