For those questioning Finn’s ban, I’ve received permission from the administrative team to release this information. I would like to respectfully request that all questions from this point forward cease.

The list of offenses is as follows:

• He was leaked poll results and vital details in regards to his most recent promotion poll, and possibly further staff lounge information that he had no right knowing, and rather than come forth with the identity of the leaker, boasted about having been leaked to.
  
  
• During a tinychat session that took place Monday August 6th, he willingly admitted to abusing his position as an administrator in order to obtain sexual favors from users (unconfirmed, but this was an admission by Finn personally).
  
• During the previously mentioned tinychat session, he made mention of owing Clashfan $25, to which he stated “Fat chance he’ll be getting that back” – This was confirmed through Clashfan.
  
• His attitude towards the recent scam by Pen (or the hacker in control of his account, whichever the case may be) was unbefitting of an ex-administrator and bearer of the Highly Respected rank.
  
  

The final decision to ban Finn was made by Sythe himself. All of the mentioned offenses were compiled and brought to his attention, and the ultimate decision fell on him. The earlier incident where Finn was banned and then unbanned shortly after was largely because of a lack of communication, and Sythe not having the entire story of the events and relevant chat logs at the time. Once he had been made aware of the entire story, and proof provided in regards to Finn's recent behavior, his decision was to ban Finn.

As a caveat to this, I would like to make it known that association with Finn after this point in time is discouraged. Although no repercussions will come of it, the staff team recommends against it.

 

Seems a bit harsh tbh, I think he was just having some fun... Although Im nit going to argue Richards choice in the banning.

You could have just left it at he sexually harassed a made sexual advanements towards a minor and to be quite honest he deserve to be reported and possibly earn himself a blue square on the pedophile list.

 

how can we be sure he wasn't just trolling. I understand and the scamming of $25 I agree but the other points didn't have to be acknowledged. Just my opinion nothing against any one or staffs decisions.

 

You don't know Finn, lol. If he stated it, its most likely true. He loves to boast about his accomplishments.

 

Sexual favors... what ranks could be given out so willy nilly? Donator ranks? I wouldn't pay someone for something I can easily get for free...

The fact that there were "so many" makes me surprised none of them came forward... though I understand they may fear losing their rank.

Why would you make up such a story? I mean for one it isn't even funny. Using the internet to solicit minors is a serious crime that can be punished by serious jail time and I really hope whoever it happened to pushes for jail time if it is still possible.

Yeah, but people like Syed and shit are joking (I hope). With Finn, he did a lot of good but I think he did more bad than good. Especially if he scammed Clashfan $25. Or tried sexual advances to someone under 18 (honestly he could be arrested and taken to court for that).

And Finn hated trolling, he's always been one to 'brag' about his accomplishments and such. Although, I would hardly call those accomplishments.

Edit: Also doesnt he live somewhere like England where the sexual age of consent is like 16?

he used a sob story to rake in couple thousand dollars which most donated for his education instead he used for a shopping spree. Including the macbook mentioned above. Although it isn't against the rules it shows what lengths he will go to for personal gains.

 

It would actually depend on the person persuaded, the victims country/area would have jurisdiction. If they were a person in the US then the US would have jurisdiction over the case and age of consent in the US is 18 in 90% of the states. Like everyone said Finn never liked trolls. I have to admit a personal bias though as I have always seen Finn as someone with an inflated ego and a skewed sense of self-importance. I also see this as a great advancement for the community he reigned with terror for much too long.

But I think we are going to get shut down by the mods for continued discussion of this and I doubt they would let us create a thread solely for this discussion. Haha.
