Some advice to everyone:
Just because the sentence sounds right, doesn't mean it's grammatically correct.

 

Don't mean to spam but how does this gauge how well you speak english?

7. Incorrect. There needs to be a comma before nevertheless. The comma after nevertheless however is optional when the aforementioned is rectified.
8. Correct. Some stupid rule to do with the word being possessive or singular.

Meh, some of these rules are useless in verbal English (who and whom) is acceptable in a day-to-day context.
