Hi everyone;

I have triad to install Simba on my Mac but to no avail. I'm going the Wine route, but somehow somewhere along the line I'm not doing this properly.

At this point, I am willing to offer someone a cash tip in RuneScape for helping me with this installation. I'd be ever grateful if anyone is able to come to my assistance!

Please describe where it is in the guide you are having the problem. Its a well written guide that's helps a lot if you follow it correctly.

I download Wine successfully, then download Java and on Wine it says:

You are about to open a Wine file.
What would you like to do with it?
-Run directly in /tmp/winebottler/prefix
-Run directly in /Users/myname/Library/Application Support/EVE Online
-Convert to simple OS X Application bundle with WineBottler

I'm not sure which one of those to choose, and I think that may be where the problem lies.

Is it possible for a mod to move this thread to the correct section?

Alright I think I've had a similar (or same) issue, make sure wine & winebottler is saved in your applications, have the "wine files" folder saved in your "Home" section (Finder window, The house tab with your name next to it) and then try again and do -Run directly in /Users/*YourName*/Wine Files

I don't have a "Wine Files" folder in my home section, so I removed bothWine and WineBottler and installed them again, but it's still not there.
