I think this bot is pretty useless now. Bots like mta, rsbots.net, and rs bot dominate the botting world now. Do you still use it? If you do, why?

your actually very wrong. S.C.A.R is stronger then any other bot out there, at villavu.com the SMART SCAR is unbelievably good if you are an "ELite Scripter".
SMART SCAR has the lowest ban rate, and can complete 100% of the randoms. SCAR is not well known, (prolly a good thing) but is a pioneer in RS cheating.

nobody uses scar anymore, its pretty crappy, i went on it a few years back but it was harder to use than rsbot

Scar is a great scripting software, not only do people develop some amazing scripts through it, but with these great scripts the people behind creating them will always offer advice and and help you need with the script; at SRL of course haha.

People think it is old and out of date, they are wrong, yes its old, BUT! it is always developing into a stronger more user friendly interface and as time goes on the scripts are easier to understand exactly where everything is and where information is needed to be placed.

Considering the strong communities within the program SCAR from Freddy1990 there is always help where neccesary and it is almost imposible to get stuck. Not only is this one of the advantages the scripts are also mostly FREE! which makes when you find or create your first working script all the better.

It may be way harder to use but RSBOT is more detectable and a lot more people use it. SCAR if used in the correct manner is way better than any other botting compiler/script.

I used to use it like a couple of years ago and it was a pretty good bot. I never got banned using it and I used a auto pc script and a auto flax picker which both worked pefectly.

I started using it in 06 and when I had heard about RSbot I just changed for good.

plz dont talk crap about other bots just because you dont like it. I used rsbot during one year (12 months) as my first and only bot. During that time it could have played 2000 for me, WHICH I THINK IS A LOT FOR NOT GETTING BANNED.

If you ever got banned using rsbot, you had better curse the script and your botting technique. I might give scar a go if it proves safe...

exactly why i recommend scar, its 100% free

(well it is off www.villavu.com) applications are closing soon I think.

i rember scar from a few years back, ive been thinking about giving it a try again but i havent had the time.
i used to like it for the willow scripts but ive never tired any others.

Yeah I use it, that's how I found Sythe.org, I Google'd Scar scripts.
I never had a problem with any scripts, until a Fletcher script got me banned.
Still my favorite bot gram tho, very flexible.

i used to use scar and script a little for it but i stopped using it after i figured out i could run multiple clients without taking up my mouse with rsbot and it was free also i knew scar later made some fix for that but i dont have any idea on the new features i think im going to check into it becuase scripts were pretty good for some things

This is true, Banland 100 brought out this add-on to Scar which is from Freddy1990. The Add-on was known as S.M.A.R.T (Scar Minimizing Autoing Resource Thing). This means that scar is put into a client. All scripts can be run with it by just adding one line. This line being:
{.Include SRL\SRL\Misc\SMART.SCAR}

Althought there have been times where scripts failed due to the use of SMART but all the scripts I know smart is already added to them. Although reflection for scar still isn't functioning, colour is still working very strongly

Overall scar has come a very long way thanks to SRL and its community, also with Freddy constantly updating scar with better functions. Yoctown, I believe you should give scar another go as it has been improving over the years, thanks for listening!
