How to take, crop and post your screenshots

Follow the Green words for a fast path.

When you have gotten the position you want press the key PrtScn usually found near the F12 key to take your screenshot!



Open up MS Paint and right click then click paste.

Now you are going to crop your picture, select the crop tool.



Now choose the area you want and left click in one corner then drag to the diagonal corner.


Right click the cropped area and choose cut. You should be left with a blank white area where your cropped image was.

Now open a new document and right click the canvas and click paste.

Save the image whatever name you want.

Now go to http://www.imageshack.us

Click browse.



Find your cropped image!



Click Upload! Then wait.



When it is finished loading left click on your picture.


Right click on your picture then click properties!



Highlight the Address then click copy.


Go to http://www.sythe.org then make your topic.

Click the Mountain Logo.

Now Highlight the http:// part then right click it then press paste.

Click Ok.



If you see something like this, you have successfully taken, cropped and posted your screenshot.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

"I can't get a screenshot even if i press prtscr.": you may need to press a button that allows to change the function! If there is a button like F Lock or something like that, press it first.

Wrap around the last set of characters, which in this case are qc6XUr4kG3A.
