I have a feeling it will seeing a lot of people don't have or are not able to make a paypal account. So being able to use gold as a currency will be great for a lot of people but we still need to see what jagex will be doing with their sold called RWT detection system.

I think it will be back. It was routine back in the day and I don't see why people wouldn't do it now. I believe one of the upgrade sellers did mention in a post somewhere around here that the value of the gold will be taken account for the price of an upgrade

For instance, lets say 1m = 1$
An upgrade = $4.50

So you would have to pay 4500k or 4.5m for an upgrade.

Only thing I'm wondering about is if people are going to keep the gold for themselves or in a way find it more time consuming seeing as they aren't just receiving money, but yet have to sell what they received from a previous trade, which would make it 2x longer possibly?

i feel like youll be paying more in rsgp if you want to buy membership, instead of just paying 3$ with paypal. since it is more of a hassle to sell the gp later

It will be back but I would not suggest you do it within the first month of free trade. Jagex "HAS" new methods of detecting gold transfer. I would avoid all gold transfer unless you have previous RS ingame connections with the trader

I'd think it'd be more like 10M now because of how much gold people have.
