So this is what happened : A guy paid 950USD for my maxed account on runescape.
I got the 950USD spent it irl.
After fucking 20days he fucking disputes his fucking money.
GF 950USD and I dont even have fucking 950USD what the fuck am i Supposed to do now all my irl info is on my PP

1st report him in the "report a scammer" section. Recover it. Re-sell it. Make sure the next person sends it as a gift on a un-verified Paypal account. Use an OMM next time as well.

Exactly. Why would you spend it right away. You should have waited at least a few weeks to see what he was going to do, then spend it in small amounts at a time. |

Paypal doesn't deal with virtual items if I remember correctly.
Simply say "This was for a virtual item that cannot be returned." You will most likely win the dispute.
You should have made him send it as a gift with a note attached saying `I agree not to chargeback as this is for a virtual item.` No offense but kind of stupid on your part.

May I ask how long before the money is "fully secured"? I'm asking about chargeback via Paypal, credit card, or bank. |

I wouldn't use paypal for high payments like that. There are always risks, regardless of the payment method.
The best that you can do now is just recover the account and try to resell it.

Did you get any contact info from him?
Recover your RS account to start with, Report him and resell it...
Next time make sure you get contact info and he sends it as a gift with a note saying "This trade was for a non-virtule item and I have already recieved my item"

PayPal won't do anything. They'll threaten the hell out of you for a long time. But think of the costs they'd ensue if they summoned you to court and sued you - more than $900.

Paypal does nothing start over on paypal using different information and recover the account back. I once was paid 1800 for a computer and the guy did the same thing and they dont do anything. Just be glad that you got what ever you bought with the 900 bucks and hopefully your account back. But definately don't worry about paypal. They are all bark no bite what so ever. My brother also got ripped off like that and ended up with a paypal account negative almost 1100 and nothing ever happened. I think he got a letter in the mail is all.
