This MAY not work but i was curious, what if u give someone a pin lets say ingame or on sythe a FREE pin then u cancel the payment wont there account get banned because of insufficient funds?

NOTE: I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS. Was just curious to see if it will work for scammers etc;

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't cancel payment on a PIN.

If you payed by a PBP i thought you could, I read on someones pin selling thread he could, Hold on let me find.

It works if you do it by Credit Card, only. 2 Kids hacked my main account, they paid for membership, then claimed unauthorized payment and my account went into negative balance. It sucked

Then how come the pin seller above said he could get it invalid? Unless hes bluffing?

He's probably scaring others, since it's impossible to cancel the payment jagex take from you, which ends up on your phone bill.

Indeed. If you're paying via CC, Paypal, etc, it's perfectly able to do, but via PBP or SMS PINs I believe it's impossible.

When paying by phone it will say, "You must hang up now or a charge of X amount of dollars will be charged to your next phone bill".

So if you stay on the phone after that message to hear the pin there is no way to reverse it.

No it happened to me when I got scammed, my account went to -7 days credit, it didn't get banned but wasn't allowed to log in till I bought more member credit. Also I didn't get an offence either.

I wouldn't exactly class it as a ban, but yeh its possible to stop them getting ingame until they pay for more membership, and they have to use the PayByCash option to be able to put more memebership on.

No. The account would be disabled for being in negative credit, not banned.

Yes, it is very possible, so don't post if you don't know what you're talking about.

You can so called "chargeback" a pin just as easily as you can with a credit card payment.

Its ALOT harder to chargeback a PBP pin then a CC Pin.
