How much GP would it cost me to repair Guthan 12 times fully?
And would it be worth while?

One problem with Orks in gwd, i don't really trust it as, sometimes a crasher comes, then makes you die.. -.-
Im doing bandits atm.. but is orks better?, if so.. i will do Orks

Defiantly not, if you are going for def just get a whip and train at SoulWars, It's ALOT faster especially at your level.

And i like to AFK alot soo... Bandits seems to be the best idea...
93 defence took me like 2-3weeks from 70.

To actually answer your question to repair guthans once is about 200k is it not?
12x200,000 = 2,400,000 : )

3,960,000 GP ... using Bob - the Axe merchant in Lumbridge, Tindel - the Tindel merchant at Port Khazard, Dunstan - the Smithy in Burthorpe, or the Squire - in the workshop area of the Void Knight's Outpost.
3,940,200 GP using a player owned workshop.
1,970,100 GP at 99 smithing (wearing skillcape) in a player owned workshop

Bandits have randoms, but orks are more dangerous.
Now if you could find a place with low attack/defense npc's and no randoms, you would have a hell of a spot.
