Jagex is being hysterical
Get this: Jagex had just banned my pure. That pure was my only legit account. I never botted on it at all.
The offense time was like 17:43 (5:43). I had never botted and I wasn't even on the account at that time.
I get a permanent for nothing? I mean I was at Gnome Agility Arena today not talking much but I was getting involved in the Clan Chat.
Gr... Jagex is hysterical trying to stop macroers but I didn't do anything....

Seeing as it was your only legit account, were you botting on another account at 17:43 from the same IP address or have you ever interacted with a botted account using that account (i.e. purchased macro farmed gold, etc.)? I'm not sure if they would do a universal ban for a single IP, has anyone else heard of something like this?

I got caught stuck in a few randoms recently, I expect to be banned. Its not a big deal tho, I'll just bot again.. its just I like the name I have now so I'd prefer if it wasnt.

same thing happened to me, totally legit account. NEVER SHARED with anyone and i got banned for account sharing... 1 of my friends got his main and pure both banned same day for botting which he didn't, somethings going on...

Yes, Jagex does ban all accounts that have been logged in from an IP. There are multiple cases of this happening on rsbot.

This just sucks big time. I really have never experienced this (nor do I hope to) so I really can't relate. It's like that feeling of being convicted of murder, but deep down you've never been in the same room as the victim; not really to that level of course. What I'm trying to say is, that sucks - wrong place at the wrong time.
