Default What would you like to see in a client?

Well ever since Jagex announced that users may be banned for using Swiftkit, I decided to get into developing my own client that doesn't modify the playing experience or applet what-so-ever, so the client would not only be impossible to trace but users could never be banned for using it.

The client is going to be a normal, legitimate client (for now), programmed in VB.net with perhaps a few C# extensions (maybe a plug-in system).

So far, I've got:
-Highscore lookup
-World switcher
-Notepad
-Screenshot taker
-GE parser

Any other ideas would be great. The client will be released sometime within the next 2 weeks (I'm hoping, but exams and stuff are coming up pretty fast).

EDIT:
Suggested ideas that WILL be implemented:
-Account creator
-Possibly an IRC client (I have got NO idea how to do this)
-Combat calculator (already done)
-Skill calculators
-Clan lookup (need to look in to this)
-Quest guide links

New ideas I had that will be implemented:
-Music player (playlists, etc)
-Plugin system (hopefully) (this would allow people to code their own addons for the client in case there's something they want that isn't included)
-RS news feed
-Webbrowser
-World map viewer

Keep on suggesting stuff

Pretty much all you've already got is the basic thing, however obviously an IRC built-in would be great, but troublesome to do I guess?
Pretty much like SwiftKit but with no modifications to the playing experience I guess. I don't even fully understand why using SwiftKit is bannable any more.

Hey, this sounds like it's going to be pretty cool.

A feature that I would find extremely helpful would be a few skill calculators built in. You could have a tab that you go to, and theres a bunch of skill buttons, after you click, the specific calc pops up. That would be pretty cool imo.

You could also have a screen for a combat calculator. A good example is the Tip.It calc.

Also, having a program that could create accounts would be pretty sweet too. Sometimes while I'm playing, I have a surge of creativity, and think of a great name, but usually cbf to open all those stupid windows. If you could be able to make it create as many as you want, that would be great too. Like, there would be no "You have created too many accounts. Kthxbye."

Edit: Like Punk3d said, you could have a quest walkthrough page, but you should make a list of quests, and each one is a link to the walkthrough on either Runescape, or Zybez, maybe Rswikia. That would be really helpful!

I wish you goodluck with your client, I'll be sure to download it when it comes out.

If you need a tester or something, Pm me. :P

I don't think they ever "announced" that, it was more like two mis-informed jmods who were telling people stuff and another one closed the thread until they can release an "official statement."

I never really saw the advantage to a vb client, because it's still pretty much like you have to use a web-browser. The only client I've ever seen an advantage is is a Java one that adds the applet directly to a jframe, as this puts aside the need for a webbrowser, and cuts down the cpu usage as a result.

All that aside, some idea's to add are:
-IRC (Suggested before)
-Auto-Login (Against the Rules)
-Account Creator

a built in irc that automatically connects to a special secret sythe-only channel where jethr0x is +qo would be nice.

Since I don't actually play RS an equipment bonus calculator would be difficult to make unless I can find the formulae through Google (that's how I made the combat calculator). The quest thing is a good idea, what I'll do is list all the quests and have a link to a guide (most likely RHQ).

I would suggest some calculators. I see you already have combat and skills, so maybe a max hit calculator?
Also timers. Stop watch, gravestone timer?
I'll post if I can come up with more.

somebody suggested a max hit calculator
I suggest a hit predictor
it predicts the hit by adding up the exp right before the hit is done (.5seconds or so)
this would help ranged 2h pures know when to combo and make pking alot more efficient

How about you make it so we can have little bookmarks which can open up websites such as sythe.org and rsbot.com. Also let us customize it? And different skins perhaps? Be able to edit the logos.. etc. 100% customizable.

Well, you already have it posted, but I really like the music player in Swiftkit. The radio stations are ftw :P I would like to see that implemented. Cuts down on windows open etc.

Like on linux, there are many screen recorders. How about a screen recorder to the size you want?

This could be difficult, but I do have a screenshot taker that takes a screenshot of only the RS window.
