well something awesome just happened. I usually host flowers in w9 and there are a few others hosts there. well anyways a relatively rich host said he could not buy a santa in g.e, he even put in an offer for 200m. What i assume happened, is when he sold his green phat in g.e, and bought his purple, that his buy limit was reached. So he offered to buy my santa for 200m, which i gladly accepted. Win for the day

unless im totally wrong and santas went from 100m to 200m overnight lol.

First off nice profit. I think it was just at that time no one had a Santa in the ge for that offer( pretty sure the buy limits are for each specific rare not sure though) happens to me when I buy mithril sets for pk run ins /minis , sometimes people just don't sell enough of them in the ge, so even though the set is like 9k med I have to buy them at like 50k each lol

There have been times where I could not buy a specific item even for a lot higher than mid. But others could. It's happened to me and my friend more than once in the past. However it hasn't happened in a while.

My guess is that happened to him. I've bought an h'ween set + santa recently. All within a period of 4 hours. So if there was a buying limit on a rare, it would affect its kind. Like if you buy a yellow partyhat. I think there's a limit where you can only buy 2 every 4 hours. Once you hit the limit, I'm sure you can still buy a different partyhat.

Lol, you're lucky. I remember once there was a scam where one person would be like "buying mint cake 50m", then someone would pm you saying "hey wanna buy this mint cake for 5m?" when it was really only worth a small amount. I got scammed by that once:P
