Default |Mining Vs. Hunting |Whats More Profitable?|

Hey guys I just reached 51 mining and noticed im making pretty good money with granite. I noticed in another guide that users were making fairly good money selling chincompas.

My questions are:

Is mining or hunting more profitable?

Which one is easiest/fastest to get to 99?

Thank you

-Austin Fernandes

Hunter is by far the easier of the two, much less tedious.. As for hunter you earn around 31m red chinning to 99..

Mining you could possibly earn much more than that depending on what method you take but it is also a LOT slower.

Your choice really.

I think I would probably stick with hunter, chins are doing very well right now and are well over 1k+ each. Mining can be great too, but its much slower and much more boring imo, but it all comes down to personal choice. Both are pretty good moneymakers tbh

well mining is 100% profit, while hunter you may use baits etc BUT i would have to say hunting would be the quickest cash flow.

Chins go by quicker because Hunter is a lot faster than Mining.

Well as it comes down to it, looked how to make gold with my 53 mining and ive come to find out that granite doesn't actually make 350k an hour. Ive been mining it non stop (Dropping all the small granite ores) for roughly 2 hours and I've made 147k gold. Looks like I'm going to start hunting

Thank you guys!

Good choice What is your hunter level?

Even when I was training from like 30 hunter onwards, I caught swamp lizards in Canifis and they go for like 1600 gp each or something like that. So its actually quite profitable to catch them and earn money while you are getting 63 hunter. Just an option for you, if you'd like The exp will get slow after about 52 hunter or so, but you will be making cash the whole time, setting 3 traps at a time and banking every few minutes. I would highly suggest looking up a guide to swamp lizards when you have the appropriate level.

I prefer Minning, the fastest as you can use Penance horn for 2X exp
You gain some cash and also it's Fun to mine as you can use it when 99 to get alot of rsgp.
Good luck!

Mining is better, actually. It's not as tedious as the above users say, but what you should note is that you don't go for actual money until you're level 77/80, when you can mine the concentrated ores, which are pretty much pure essence with better exp + gp (AFK FTW)

Hunter you always have to pay attention, and can get frustrating as it's not constant resources being gathered like mining
