Hey guys, so today somebody hacked an account I bought ~ 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure if it was the seller of the account but I have recovered it back and I have drained the bank of about 400M in valuables. (Luckily I wasn't wearing anything when he logged on.) Anyways my credit card is attached to the account and I'll just threaten Jagex if I don't get it back so I don't think the hacker can win. What do you guys suggest me doing at this point?

While logging in I also snagged the last address logged in, which is: ool-18b84fa4.dyn.optonline.net

I was wondering if someone could help me do some detective work in finding out more about this address. I would really appreciate it!

Well you could contact the seller and ask if he can recovery that account for you. If he doesn't reply back or ignores you usually it means he was involved.

Also if you want I have the exact ip address of that host you posted. Let me know if you want it and you could do an IP check with a staff memebr to see if they are on Sythe.

Your not getting the account back. it's not like you can see the card # or anything.. Your basically saying that all a hacker needs is to purchase members and they get a free account?

No, it's my card which is on the account. I can recover it quite easily using the card number, and if not I can always throw some legal bullshit at Jagex to get it back. - And yes, could you possibly do an IP check for me? The guy who sold it to me is called "Rubiyath", he posted in my vouch thread. I would greatly appreciate the help.

No, he sold me the account and I have had it for three weeks. Suddenly today the password was changed and I'm on red alert. Although I personally don't think my seller did this because he's sold many accounts here. Might just be a false alarm, maybe it was a key logger? I'm on a mac though so that's highly unlikey, what ever, I'd still like to figure out where that address is from. So could anybody help me?
