Hey guys was just keylogged by a foolish trick that I should have paid more attention to. Lost 400m on my account. How can I remove this keylogger as he keeps changing the password to my account. Need help immediately please!

Try a program called keyscrambler.. it will encrypt your keystrokes. as far as actually removing the keylogger, you have anti virus right? if you do have AV the key-logger is probably fully undetectable.. if that's the case I'd try a system restore, or download a program called HijackThis, run a scan, and post the scan on some-sort of security forums, this website has a fairly large list of forums you can post the results on

and some one will set you in the right direction of what to do

another way to bypass the keylogger is to use an onscreen keyboard. If your comp is a Microsoft one, go to start, all programs, accessories and then accessibility and the onscreen keyboard should be on there. Use that to set new passwords and also to look for a good program to remove the logger.

I did this. Scanning the computer now.

I tried this and set new passwords to everything. Can I log in using my normal keyboard now or do I have to use the other keyboard for now on?

Do a complete System restore.

Like factory restory.

Would be your quickest bet... If you don't mind losing some of your files.

Try getting an antivirus.

Will that knock off the keylogger for good? I'm very worried now that my keyboard is not 100% safe now and that this guy has access to everything. How will I be 100% sure everything is done?

Yes, I have been keylogged before and that did. In the meantime get to another computer and change your passwords to your email, sythe account, RS account, paypal, etc.

Complete restore is the safest option you have, I can guarantee you will be safe if you do that.

Just make sure you have control over all your RS info.

Did this. The onscreen keyboard did not work as he is still changing my password on the account. Really getting impatient with this and got this guys IP that he keeps logging into.

Yeah, you should be fine by now.
I got keylogged twice on the same day.
I had a bankpin, i advice you to get one.
I used Anti MalwareBytes (mbam)
And SUPERantiSpyware, both are free.
I also have a payed antivirus, which didn't find it, trash thing.

Thanks. I have a payed antivirus as well which didn't do crap. Luckily mbam is trying to block this guy but still having some issues :/

Keeps changing my password and now can't even send in a recover appeal for too many attempts. So frustrated with this thing. Idk how he keeps breaking in.

Things I've done:

1. Installed the program Kero told me to run. Scanned files and cleared infected ones.
2. Tried a on screen keyboard. No luck.
3. Ran a system recovery. Everything was moved back to yesterday yet he still is breaking into my keyboard.

Losing hope and scared to login to any of the things I own.

When this account is my own and was made on my own IP. Can't even run a recovery now. This guy is really starting to push the wrong buttons...

Paid antiviruses are only one step. Using mbam to scan regularly, a good firewall, and a good anti spyware is the only way to be as safe as possible.
