Yeah, they just take the account and leave it, they change your pass back to the original I believe.

possiblity you might get some stats happned to me account got hacked with liek 55 str 60 range came back 99 str 99 range

This happens a lot on WoW. Not intentionally but a lot of times that when you get hacked a goldseller will transfer a large sum to your account to sell to someone and then you recover your account and are left with a LARGE sum of gold.
I don't see it working in RS though as anyone can trade anyone.

This would work better giving account to someone, just give account to someone random on runescape, see what they do with it.
