When are they gonna open RSC again?
I started playing Runescape in 2002. When RS2 came out, everyone had the choice to either keep your bank in RS1 or transfer it to RS2. After much thinking, my friend convinced me to switch it to RS2.
I really miss RSC. I didn't know about either of the openings, as I just came back to runescape after 5 years, last week.
When are they going to open it up again? Are there any rumors or shreds of evidence? I'm having major nostalgia and really want to go back. Will my bank and items be there? If I have to start over it's doable...

From my experience its no longer worth going on classic  .. as much as I love it, there aren't enough players to make it enjoyable.. most the people on there are botter... staking is hard..lots of wined/ fatigued players its not uncommon for players to be like 99 99 99 with only 90 hp.... I haven't played in a while buy full rune cost 500k when I played so its pretty hard to get that much if your a legit player.
There are now rsc private servers that are 100% safe... however these are aimed at pkers and stakers not skillers really I reccomend

no one plays anymore. its like 30 people on at a time in both worlds. 90% of which are autoers n the rest are high lvls staking 100s of mills.

I find playing RSC still worth the time. There's enough people there to make friends and still enjoy the game. Granted, there aren't as many people that play Classic as do RS2, but that just makes the game much funner to me, as it feels more exclusive.

I wouldn't play on a Private Server. Reason being, if they ever shut it down, are forced to shut it down, and decide to re-write the code and people have to start over, you'll never have progress that can never be deleted/removed. Playing RuneScape Classic, your things will always be saved, and you'll be playing on the real game.

When was this? Last I looked for any updates was around a week or two ago.

There were two openings, one in November of '09 and one in June of '10. There should have been another one in November of '10, but Jagex changed their mind and decided that they are no longer going to be following their 6 month rule.
however, it seems jagex is getting more and more interested in reopening runescape classic (maybe even put it on home page again) |

Yes. We (RuneScape Classic Community) have been pressing to get some things back for RSC. They changed a lot of things a while back, but slowly we've been getting some things back. I was very delighted when they finally added the "X" amount to items and banks, so people wouldn't have to hold down their mouse button for 5 minutes to put up 10M (exaggeration.. slightly).
We were also trying to get in contact with a JMod around 2-3 weeks ago, but for some reason, it fell through. We'll still try and get some things updated, but must wait and see, as JMods don't check the forums very often.

Rsc comes back every 6 months, though its not worth playing Imo... Most players are either botters or maaxed out high levels, and the max I've seen on the servers is like 80

my old rsc account has bunny ears and like 3 sets of full rune with rune 2h lol. wont let me log in though

I'm surprised to have learned they opened it back up. How does that work?
Also, the newer improved non-10-year-old-game is better than RSC.

My account randomly stopped working on RS classic when it used to work... I think if you didn't play it atleast every 3-6 months or w/e they kick u from it? |

I know this is off topic but if you get banned for autoing in classic does that transfer over to your rs2 account too? No 1 before could answer my question.
