RSbot is the target for this. They have gotten too bad and are being targeted just like rsdemon was and will be hit by this the most.

How are they detecting rsbot? simple. Rsbot is a BCEL bot, it edits the actual code of the game client therefore jagex can easily use reflection to see that the code has been changed. Rsbot injects data into the rsbot client with different Id's for various items and objects. To put it in simpler terms, rsbot hacks the client side info of runescape and this is higly detectable. Does this mean its the end of botting, no there is other bots. I would recommend anyone who doesnt want to get banned stop using rsbot now!!!! If your looking for a alternative to rsbot then i recommend ibot/nexus. iBot/neXus uses color&reflection, reflection reads the data and cannot befound because of the java security class we are higher in the stack we can reflect down to runscape but runescape cannot look up! Alot of rsbot users were banned and you could be to. Its only a matter of time before you get caught using rsbot. Make the right decision and switch over asap.

Seconded. Until RSBot finds a work around, I'd stay away from it.

Seems like most of that is speculation on how it works. It's also almost all about RSBot and not about the actual macro detection of runescape.

Actually, Ibot/Nexus uses BCEL too, they just lie about it. If you search their folders you can find the .jars used by BCEL (this came from Nader, the main dev for Scionbot)

At the moment, Jagex does not detect BCEL bots, or else EVERYBODY who used a BCEL bot (this means rsbot, kbot, xbot, scarscape etc.) would be banned in a few days, as happens with people who use deobs.

Even tho they are banning much of the idiotic people that overuses bots. They can't bant them all and detect everything.

I didn't read them all, but there is more than one person reporting a ban on each thread I looked at, maybe on average 5 per thread? Some of those people losing 4 or more accounts, on average, each lost about 2 accounts. I could be wrong, I didn't add it all up, just took a glance - but if you do the math on those figures: 21*5 is over 100, and if the average person lost 2 accounts, that's over 200.

You need to pay a ridiculous amount of money for Nexus, unless you crack it (which is unsupported here at Sythe), so might as well go and use other bots that do not use BCEL, like Scion or SCAR. I'm aware of a couple other bots currently in development as well that'll be released this summer ;D

Yes rid some people did nexus users did get banned but that's common as
with all bots. People abused the hunter bot and tons of people were getting
99 hunt which forced jagex to implement new macro detection software.

Bcel isnt actually always detectable the problem with rsbot is that it just ignores RS when i tries to send signals or somthijg to it because its poorly coded but Kbot uses Bcel but its properly coded so it responds to the server

just buy the Perfecticus Master Hunter XXL in the rsbot script section. after you buy it for $30 go to impsoft.info and click the CLICK HERE hyperlink to download nexus.

once you have it wait for the authorization code to come in an email and then activate it. tada, lifetime of nexus. now of course you'll only have one program, the master hunter, but its worth it becaues you get a great program and a lifetime nexus for 30

Also, people we need to think logically. You see the online users on RsBot.org? Jagex mentioned "several thousand" (several: more than 3, less than 7). There are easily 3 times more users than that for rsbot.

They are only banning the greedy noobs that want levels NOW. meaning the 12-24 hour botters.

If you bot for 3-8 hours a day, you are very safe. and if you do it with "sleeping time" you're fine

and that's why SCAR is much less detectable, pity that all the good scripters are private.
