Penalties for macro?
can anyone tell me what jagex does if you get caught macroing on rsc + rs2?

10 day ban
Perm bann
that's pretty much it , if you're lucky you might just get a 10 day. But if you bot again chances are your gonna get perm.

Depends. If your member you'll get a 10 day ban around four times before perm. If your free you'll get perm at first time.

theres no proof of this.
what i belive you get for being caught macroing is:
jagex' automation system caught you, or you've been playing pretty much 24/7 -> 10day ban
jagex is 100% sure you have been botting -> perm |

what you say is true, most of the time, however ive had a 10 day in f2p

Yes, I had one too. But most times I got instant perm.

This answer wins.
Depends on whether the automation system catches you or Jagex does. Jagex will pentalize further than the automatic banning process. |

Yes, that might be. I heard some members getting permanent at first also. I only spoke from personal experience.

i just got a 13 day ban today for auto alching (appealing atm)
if i bot again its a 21 day ban.
then im guessing perm?

Yes, next time you'll most likley get 21 and then permanent if your not getting permanent next. |

If you bot reasonable hours a day and don't get stuck in many randoms, and jagex's system happens to catch you'll get a 10 day ban if your member. You'd only get a perm ban unless you were botting 24/7 with a really obvious bot, or if you botted after you got an offence. Although on f2p I haven't heard of anyone getting less than a perm ban.
