Will Jagex ban me for taping down one of my keys?
To stay logged in and afk, I taped down an arrow key. Will jagex detect and ban me for this?

Be careful mate, Jagex has this revolutionary new taped-key detecting software that catches even the most clever and cautious AFK trainers and then smacks them with the banhammer.
However, if you lay a stapler on the arrow key instead, it is MUCH harder to detect and you can usually fly nice and low under their radar and avoid detection, and a subsequent ban.

so there is a better method
cut off ur penis and use it to hold thekeyboard ofcourse that wouldn't hold it
put ducktape over it .

Ok, on a serious note though: AFK training by definition is against the rules. You are not allowed to gain any experience points unless you are physically at the computer yourself. Most people "AFK" train where they are watching a movie, browsing the forums, watching Youtube etc, but they are in fact still sitting at the computer.
I have a hard time imagining Jagex actually banning you for doing this, but just thought I would offer a few words of caution (other than the info I already provided you about the taped-key detection software  ).
