Promethium maul
I have it equipped, I'm 96 STR
So far so good, unless you get your hands on a primal maul.

prom maul is very good, also for your second bind a prom platebody or shadow silk hood if you have it

Shadow Silk Hood as your 1st priority if you EVER come across one, and Primal Battleaxe (Obviously you can't get one so Primal Maul and if you're ever 90 Attack switch to a Promethium 2H)

So:
Primal Maul
Best Platebody UNTIL you come across a SSH (Shadow Silk Hood)

Anyone know the what tends to drop a Shadow Silk Hood?

they are dropped by night spiders

primal spear/maul perhaps and best plate you can hold
