questions about vps and sorc garden gold farming
im looking to buy a vps to run 2 sorc garden bots so i have enough money to supply membership for all my accs (3 including sorc garden) + buy other bots
looking for vps around $20.
+ sorc garden will cost me $16
+ for now need $12 to fund the two botting accs
thats 48$ to start
now, from my calculations, each bot will make 250k an hour, combined to make 500k an hourx24= 12 mil a day
12mil a day*30= 360 mill running 24/7 a month.
so my questions are:
1. my computer has 445 mb of ram + 2.3 ghz. can i at least control the vps from this crappy comp?
2. are my calculations right about 360 mil botting 24/7 on two sorc gardens?
3. which is a good vps for around $20?

Not the thread for this, but
1. Your VPS has nothing to do with your PC. Yes, you can.
2. Yes, pretty much. It may vary though, so expect some downtime from the bots also. Along with +/-~250k
3. I've heard Elastichosts are pretty cheap, but people around here really go with Virpus or Photon or whatever that is.
Looks like PhotonVPS will be your best bet, 1GB of RAM for 20 bucks a month sounds right.

It's going to take about a day to get 65 thieving on both accounts. Boots of lightness and other weight reducing items are not required, but they would help with run energy (as would a higher agility level, I've heard 21 agility makes for no rest time)
But your number of 250k/hr may not be realistic. I run 2 sorc garden bots on a vps (x10 vps, D5 package) and get about 225k/hr, although herb prices are skyrocketing right now. Btw this vps costs $25/mo.

You can plug your laptop in and take out the battery... the vps takes a good chunk out of your profits =/

Re: questions about vps and sorc garden gold farming
most laptops can run without the battery in it, if it is pluged into the wall. So try it, and if it works, use that and run 5
