Staying Secure
Antivirus Software is not Enough!

Earlier today, I wrote a simplistic, primitive, working keylogger to test my antivirus software. I was surprised to note that my antivirus software did not detect it. I scanned it on http://virusscan.jotti.org/, and to my even greater surprise, none of the twenty trusted, reputable antivirus solutions used by that service found any infections on that file!

n4n0 and Clashfan can vouch that this file was indeed a 100% working keylogger that recorded all character keys typed and uploaded the log file to my server.

That got me thinking: keyloggers are very easy to write, and very hard to detect by established antivirus software. On a site such as Sythe.org, where hackings and account theft occur so frequently, how can people avoid being keylogged?

To that end, I have written an eBook on how you can do what antivirus software cannot in order to stay safe.

No computer is safe with just an Antivirus Software installed - New Virus's are being created constantly, and old ones are being FUD'd repeatedly (Fully Undetected) - Anyone with any sort of knowledge when it comes to some basic programming CAN create harmful software that WILL NOT be detected by online virus scanners/local software. Will you have a RSGP option available soon? (like via TBT again). This is a guide I would really like to purchase as I am awful in keeping my computer secure no matter how much I try. I'm always asking someone like Farcast on IRC for security help, hopefully this can solve most of my problems.

EDIT: I just realized it was only $2, going to scrap up some gold and buy it tomorrow
