Default Binary Converter

Ok I made this with Visual Studio Ultimate 2010

Yes, I did watch a tutorial for it so don't jump down my throat for not being a "leet coder" like the rest of the 11 year olds out there.

But, I got a few questions, In visual basic, once I finish a project how do I publish it to a .exe so that I can share it with anyone?

And second, how can I improve that Converter

You posted this in the vb6 section, you need to post it in the VB.NET section.

But to answer your question in the menu up the top go to Build > Build [PROJECT NAME]

example, if you project was called 'EliteSwitch' you would go to Build > Build EliteSwitch.
It compiles the .exe file in Bin > Debug of your project folder.

Alright thanks, but when I do that and send it to my friends, it still doesn't allow them to open it. Tho it works fine on my computer.

And whats the difference between this and vb.net?

Alot of things, but to sum it up vb.net is basically a script kiddy language.

You're going to have to give me more information then "they can't open it".

Get them to give you a screenshot of the error, or the error details then post them here.
Also what is the code you have on your form's load event?

VB.net is a sophisticated language if you want it to be.

GFXoracle: They most likely need .NET Framework 3.5+ installed, but supply an error message for us to troubleshoot in more detail.

EDIT: And the differences between VB6 and VB.net are great - VB6 is pretty much outdated. Don't touch VB unless you absolutely need to code in VBA.
