Jagex accounts and recovery

A few questions about the new Jagex accounts system:

1. Can you still recover an character linked to a Jagex account?
2. If the above is true, how since now your account details have been intermingled with the Jagex account, for example the email is now the one under the Jagex account.
3. If (1) is true, what happens when you recover it? Does it get split off from the Jagex account and hooked back up to its own individual account?
4. Can you recover an entire Jagex account now and therefore get access to all the associated characters (since you cant remove characters from a Jagex account once linked)?

 

It is still very possible to recover an account even if it is linked to someone elses Jagex Account. They just remove it off that persons jagex account

Certainly always recoverable I would like to however assume they are less lenient on recoveries like this unless it’s very obvious someone’s account was actually stolen and then imported to a jagex account.

tldr; treat acc purchases as you always should - a expensive rental with no known return date

 

My question is as someone wanting to sell a few accounts two being just regular email login... One of them being a jagex account. Is the jagex account sellable?

From my understanding if i give all the original info a jagex account is harder to recover than a simple email login.

 

Any account that you aren't the original owner of can be recovered.

1. You don't have any of the original account creation details and the OO can always tell you the wrong information.
2. The owner has the original static IP if they're creating the account from a home IP and using dedicated IP address.

Some of these things seriously can't be disputed if you're not the original owner you won't know these details the only people that do is jagex and the account creator. Therefore the account can simple be recovered by telling jagex crucial details that only you and them know. Like Leptin said id treat accounts as an expensive rental depending on who you're buying it from or an investment make x 2 what you purchased the account for as fast as you can on the account even if you have to sit around and kill black dragons for 2 or 3 weeks. Secure your investment so if anything happens you've already made your money back. People out here scamming $5 imagine what they'd do for a big account trade.

Which is why you should only buy accounts from people who have something to lose. Honestly at this point id only buy accounts if I have a plan to make my investment back quickly.
