Well, I asked this girl to prom in front of the whole school (she said yes), so I tried to make it the night of her life paid for a limo, spent 5 hours begging the cheesecake factory to give me a reservation, and made sure everything was PERFECT. Well, today she said she has a boyfriend, and I asked "Since when??" and she replied with "Since yesterday". And she said she felt bad and would still try to come to prom with me but she'd have to ask her "boyfriend"... Well, I said "No, you're not coming to prom with me anymore, so go suck his dick or something and get the fuck out of my face.". And she like started crying, I felt like a dick walking away, but she fucked up my plans...

Should I feel bad or did I do the right thing? O.o

Kinda the same thing happened to me, the girl said she'd go to prom with me and I had everything set and I went to the mall with her to shop for shit and such, then I was like "Wait.... are we going as friends or as a date?" and she said as friends and I said fuck that and told her I wasn't taking her. I later found out she was a huge slut and she only dates girls, but she said she will screw guys, just not date them.

I can understand that you are very upset. Who wouldn't be, after putting so much time & effort into setting up the perfect date? But I feel that your words were more than a little harsh, and that you should apologize to her for that.

I don't think you should take her to prom anymore though. You put in far too much time & effort to take somebody who is completely unappreciative of you. You should take somebody who actually deserves it. Are there any other girls that you could ask to prom?
