Prom
Anyone know any good ways to ask someone to prom? And not the cliche ways and the ways that everyone else does it, I mean an invention of your own.

Re: Prom
Sticky notes on her car, covering the whole thing saying "Prom?" or leading to some other place where you're waiting and ask her, perhaps?
Also saw a video where this guy opened a box of candy and put a poem in asking a girl to prom, was pretty neat.

I would second the car thing, or could write with window stuff on it? Other than that I wouldn't know anything else except to just be up front and ask her.

Re: Prom
If you guys have an inside joke together then use that, girls always freak out and think it's sweet if it's personal like that. Here's how I asked a girl to prom:
We saw the kid's movie Tangled together and both loved it, and it become an inside joke type thing since she sort of looks like the girl in it and stuff. I work at a theatre and managed to get the movie poster for it, and gave it to her (which she loved). I wrote "Will you go to prom with me?" on the back, and would ask her to look at that spot when the time came. I gave her the poster in February or something, prom was in June, so I had time. She put the poster on her wall and kept it there. So in May, I asked her to look on the back, and low and behold my plan worked.
She said no, but only because by that point I was friendzoned. I told the same story to all my other female friends and they all melted...The key here was that the question was on the back of the poster for months. Girls dig that shit.

Very nice way of doing it, was unfortunate she said no.
I was simple when I asked someone to the Prom, I just her by herself, told her I liked her and asked her out, she said yes. Simple but at the end of the day, if she likes you, she'll say yes, if she doesn't, no matter what you do or how you ask her, she'll say no.

Re: Prom
Just man up and ask her and tell her how you feel. If she shoots you down, it was never meant to be. Don't falter at all so practice it alot and you should be fine. Just act strong when you do it and if she declines then just walk away

Re: Prom
Thanks for the replies, unfortunately time's running out so I couldn't do what I had planned, (Buy her a book she wanted and put a note in it asking her to prom) So I just straight up asked her and amazingly she said yes lol.
