If you claim his songs are worthless, he must really have talent to get them to top the charts.

For example, if I went into a crowded public place and played Crank Dat, at least one person would start to do the Soulja Boy.

If I went into the same place and play the screamo music that alot of people on here like, they would tell you to turn the shit down.

He was only 16 when he recorded Crank Dat. In his home studio. If you guys are so much better than him, write your own hit songs.

He does have some worthless songs, (Swagga), but he also has great ones. Crank dat is played at high school pep rallies and college games all over the country every weekend. The Texas Longhorns are on youtube doing the Soulja Boy.

KMTTF combines pop and rap, appealing to many people who 1. Don't like POP and 2. Don't really like rap. It is pop, really, but it is infused with rap, covering a middle ground. Like how I like a middle ground between rock and rap.

Soulja Girl may very well be his best song, even though it remains obscure. It combines the youuuuuuuuuu! of Crank Dat with standard pop. Please listen to it before you start hatin Soulja.

Bottom line is, his marketing is good. Hes got the name, the inital hit that made him a common name across the country, and covers a middle ground that many people can like.

The only reason he gets so high on the charts is because society has extremely low standards of music nowadays.

Soulja boy is a low class mother fucker calling himself the king of hip hop. He claims he's better than Jay Z, yet all he says is "you." I'm tired of that WIGGER. Maybe if he learned to flow, rhyme MAYBE he would be better, but I doubt it. Only reason he got his songs on the charts is because music is dead. Hip hop left when biggie died. OF course, there is good rappers alive today, but the best are dead. TI, and Young Jeezy are the only actually "Good" rappers alive.
