Default Requiem for a Dream

Has anyone seen this? I saw it last night and I'm glad I did. It's not a necessarily "fun" movie, but it's one that I am glad I watched. The breakdown at the end was brutal. I didn't cry, but I would have preferred to cry. The feeling was horrible.

If anyone hasn't seen it, it's really worth the watch. The title doesn't really reflect how good the movie is, so don't judge by that. It's one drug movie you won't regret watching.

To those people who have already watched it, any thoughts?

"Requiem For A Dream" is a movie about drug addiction, but that's only where the plot resides so the thoroughly drawn characters can work toward their imperfect dreams.

I think those cover it the best. The actors? I don't remember their names, but you can look them up on wikipedia. I'm not that big of a movie buff, so I don't know the more obscure actors. Marlon Wayans is in it, and he's great.

The story, in a nutshell, is about the pursuits of three heroine addicts, and the addictions of an old woman. Of course, the critics are probably more in-tune with the story than I am.

Yeah I watched it, it's really moving, shows the lengths people go to and the struggles they face when addicted, Jared Leto was awesome in it. Oh and the main actors were Jared Leto (frontman of 30 seconds to mars), Damon Wayans (Scary Movie) and Jennifer Connolly (Incredible Hulk)

I saw this at college. It was quite a moving film. I don't do drugs personally, however.
