The Hurt Locker
imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0887912/
Awesome fucking movie. Saw it last night and its probably one of my favorite movies now.
The main character is in the army and disarms bombs that terrorists plant throughout iraq.
Definitely check this movie out; its probably going to dominate at the academy awards.

Re: The Hurt Locker
I found it crap. There was no storyline. But I loved the action.

Yeah debatable, until he says the line about loving everything when you're younger and as you get older you only love a few things. This tied together the whole plot IMO. Action was awesome, i agree.

Re: The Hurt Locker
Many civilians and those from civilian families find it to be exciting and well-written, however being military and from a military family myself, i find it very poorly written.
An EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) team would never be allowed to singlehandedly infiltrate enemy lines to disarm IEDs (improvised explosive devices) without some sort of escort.
In real life an EOD team wouldn't show up until the area was deemed safe, and they sure as hell wouldn't carry all the weapons they do in the movies. I've seen them have the M9 (standard issue pistol) at MOST!
They simply DO NOT see action in their careers, unless a bomb doesnt diffuse correctly of course.

Re: The Hurt Locker
I absolutely loved this movie, Though some aspects of it were pretty stupid imo. Such as the whole kid involved throughout who gets blown up >.>

Re: The Hurt Locker
Oh and the part when they look inside the kid for the drugs is plain sick. If you got the uncensored version, that is lol.

Re: The Hurt Locker
I didn't really get the whole excitement in this movie. It was more informative of the conditions and risks of the Job, I did watch it about 8 months ago..

Re: The Hurt Locker
great fucking movie. they captured focus pretty well in most scenes...seemed like amateur casting, but the profits werent too much to complain about.
